So it wasn't necessarily the brand that interested me in this watch; it was the look and capabilities. It is packaged nicely with everything held compactly within a small box. I did have a little trouble getting the watch out, but eventually did without ruining the box itself. Using the Quick Start Guide I downloaded the App to my phone and started charging it. I have to say this type of charger was new to me, but so far I like it as it's much easier to use than regular micro USB chargers. Once charged I went through the set up options on the App and then played around with the watch itself.

The fit is too big for me, so my options are to buy one of the regular adjustable bands here on Amazon (Michael Kors Access Bradshaw Black Embossed Leather Smartwatch Strap MKT9007 or Michael Kors Access Bradshaw Black Silicone Smartwatch Strap MKT9000 ) or shorten the links; which is possible on your own with the right tools or through a jeweler. At this time I'm ordering an extra band, but will most likely shorten the links so that I have options for wear. I will note that changing the band is easy so that is a plus. It is a big faced watch so it won't be for everyone, but it's necessary to be able to have a touchscreen that is easily used. Additionally it is heavy, but again if you switch out the band that will help.

As for use it has been very user friendly and intuitive for me and should be for anyone that is comfortable with a smartphone. I like that you can easily change the watch face look and even set it to change for you for both day and night looks. Several of the apps that transferred over from my phone when I set it up work seamlessly (Foursquare, Google), albeit differently, but several don't and won't work, but I have yet to figure out how to remove them. Hopefully they can be removed and if not that will be a disappointment. The Google Fit app was one I didn't have previously and so far I am liking it. The connection between the two works well and so far the data I'm seeing seems pretty accurate when compared to my Fitbit HR Charge. Battery life has been about 3-4 days without charging, but now I've just gotten used to putting it on the charger every night like my phone so there won't be an issue of a dead watch.

Overall I think this is a beautiful piece of jewelry, that with the Smartwatch capabilities added makes it even better. I hesitated giving it 5 stars for a couple reasons; first being the price. I understand the brand is automatically going to raise the price, but I think that because of the price you should also receive an additional band. The second reason being is not being able to find an easy way to add and remove apps. So far the online user guide and youtube videos haven't been helpful so my search continues. *As a note if you are reading this review and have any suggestions or have found a way to do this please comment, I would love the help.

UPDATE - I went ahead and used my watch tool (SE JT6305A Watch Link Remover) to remove 3 links and now the fit is perfect for me. I added additional pictures to show the after fit and tool I used.

68 of 73 people found the following review helpful.
Could be better
By Jack Black
I'm a huge smart watch fan and also a fan of Michael Kors watches in general. I've had a bunch of smart watches ranging from the Moto 360 to the Apple Watch. I'm not a particular fanboy of any brand and consider myself brand agnostic. So when I had the chance to buy the Android Wear Michael Kors watches I was excited to try them out. The parent brand of Fossil is trying to bring smart waches across all their brands such as Micheal Kors, Kate Spade, Diesel, Skagen, etc. It's cool that they're bringing technology and fashion together, but there's a lot more work to do.

Pros:
- Looks good. That's what the fashion part is for right
- Built pretty solid. Feels like it is put together right
- Water resistant

Cons:
- Heavy. I work out alot and it still feels heavy on my wrist
- Performance is inconsistant
- The display is somewhat blurry and looks washed out.

For the price of $350, these watches are some of the best looking ones on the market right now. The plus is that they are also water resistant which makes it easier to not be nervous about getting it wet in the rain. But with the performance and how the screen changes and the funcitons itself, the smartwatch is no different than any other Android Wear out there on the market. Plain and simple, the display is lackluster. I don't think it's worth the $350 price tag. If you want a good looking watch, just get a regular Michael Kors watch. Albeit, these are cheaply made watches (not as cheap as the knock offs you get in Chinatown, but definitely not worth the pricetag for the higher end ones).

5 of 5 people found the following review helpful.
Beautiful.... Beautiful No Longer
By Sarah
Update: The glass scratches so ridiculously easy. You have this beautiful watch and the face is all scratched up. I haven't been banging my wrist around or anything, I take very good care of my watches. Perhaps the glass on mine is defective in someway. Sadly I am returning the watch.

I love the way this watch looks. I receive compliments on it all of the time.
I find the watch to be not especially user friendly. However, it works great with my android.
See all 58 customer reviews...
